Our Quality policy

We do not compromise at our quality and it is our first priority. We do maintain it in the stimulated time frame at every stage of the production.

Row Wool

“Wool is either imported or is bought from nearby market and is carefully sorted to pick out unwanted particles. Wool often caries dust, grease which is removed by washing it thoroughly and is then sun-dried for three days.“

Wool Scouring

“It is the process of washing of Wool Fiber. Wool fiber has lot of dust, dirt and sticky oily material called Suint. Suint is the wax like material which comes out from sweat glands of Sheep. The fiber has to be washed with caustic to remove suint.”

Woolen Yarn Spinning

“Spinning involves two steps carding and spinning. Carding is sometimes done by hand with help of carding brush or on carding rollers run by hand. The carded wool is spun into yarn by using a charkha or a spinning weel.”

Raw Material

“Contribute enormously to the overall impression of the rug – its color, texture, tactile feel, and above all its durability of Wool, Cotton, Silk, Dyes, Bamboo Silk, Viscose Rugs. The materials that go into a weaving rug are as important as the design and workmanship.”

Compute Aiding Designing (CAD)

“When speaking about patterns and carpet manufacturing these are often divided into three categories like curvilinear, geometric, and figural patterns. There are many frequent named patterns; we will mention a few of the most common ones.”

Yarn Dyeing

“These dyes have a high degree of fastness. Depending on the weather, the dyed yarn has to be dried in the sunlight for one to three days. Pot dyeing and vegetable (natural) dyeing is still being used by some manufacturers.”

Yarn Opening or Reeling

“Reeling is a process that involves opening the bigger and loose lea and wrapping it into tightly wrapped bunch which is smaller in size.”

Tufted weaving technique

“Hand tufting is the classic craft for making unique carpets. Carpets are processed with a so-called yarn gun, single needle machine, which attaches yarn strands to prefabricated base material, the first backing. This is done by needling the yarn from the back side upwards, where grabs hold the yarn.”

For Tufted Rugs

“Tufted rugs are back coated with latex to make them more durable and provides dimensional stability and prevent fraying during cutting. Coating system serves to anchor the pile and prevent minimizes loosing of the pile, pull out of the tufts.”

Weaving Hand-knotted Process

“Hand-knotted rugs tend to be higher quality because of the intensive labor required. Weavers tie individual knots to the vertical (warp) yarns that run the length of the rug. These knots create the surface, or pile, of the rug. Generally speaking the more knots per square inch, the more durable and valuable the rug.”

First Clipping

“After received from loom the piles are cut to level them to same height then after sent for raw washed.”

Row Washing

“It is done as the first wash to clean the carpet and for removal of dust and dirt or any stains on the carpet.”

Final Washing

“The carpet is washed for the final time. Final washing done for the sheen and soften of rugs which acquire luxury look.”

Drying

“In the traditional setup dyeing is done under the sun, but many manufacturers have drying machine which can control the temperature and moisture of the carpet.”

Stretching

“Stretching is done to make the sides straight otherwise the carpet has some cured edges.”

Serge (Binding)

“The sides of the carpet are bound by a separate thread which is a thick and often doubled. This gives additional strength to the carpet.”

Final Clipping

“Final clipping done to minimize the pile by removing extra hanging fiber to give the level of the rug surface smoothening.”

Embossing

“All the rugs are weaved and washed then in order to achieve the clarity in design embossing have done around the detailing of design by using pointed sharp scissor. Embossing also called in India “Gul tarasha” commonly used design tarashna.”
